DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (AP) ? Pakistani intelligence officials say a U.S. drone has fired two missiles at a house in northwest Pakistan, killing at least four suspected militants.
The officials say two other militants were wounded in Tuesday's attack in the Shawal area of South Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
The two officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to speak to reporters.
The attack came despite Pakistani demands to halt the airstrikes. Pakistan says they violate its sovereignty. Unintended casualties in the attacks have also stirred tensions.
Last November, Pakistan closed tis border to NATO shipments intended for its troops in Afghanistan in retaliation for U.S. airstrikes that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. Pakistan demands an apology.
