The courtyard of this mosque is truly vast.

Topkapi Palace

Topkapi palace is the official residence of Ottoman Sultans. For more than 400 years, the palace acted as the imperial residence. A part of the palace is free to visit. Tourists are very much interested to see the harem area of the palace. Daily tours are conducted, and guides offer a wealth of information to the tourists coming here. The palace is open from Wednesday to Monday.

Grand Bazar

Spice Bazaar

As the name suggests, this is the place where visitors can buy high quality spices. Not only spices but also herbs are available here. This bazaar is based on Egyptian Lines.

Dolmabahce Palace

This imperial building is located close to the shores of Bosporus. The chandelier hanging from the high ceiling of the palace is known to be the largest in the whole of Europe. These days, cheap flights to Istanbul are readily available.
