What are the Dangers of Dealing with Asbestos?

The Four Main Diseases Attributed to Asbestos Are:
Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma is a cancer which affects the lining of your lungs and the lining of your lower digestive tract. This type of cancer is nearly always related to asbestos exposure and is very hard to notice this kind of disease so early diagnosis is rare.
Asbestos related lung cancer
There are not many statistics about asbestos related lung cancer as it?s almost impossible to distinguish the difference between this and lung cancer caused by smoking and other causes. It works and looks exactly the same, however, it?s estimated that for every mesothelioma death there is a diagnosis of asbestos related lung cancer.
Asbestosis
Is a serious scarring condition of the lungs that normally occurs after great periods of exposure to asbestos over a prolonged period of time. Asbestosis causes progressive shortness of breath and in some cases can be fatal.
Pleural thickening
This normally happens after many years of regular asbestos exposure. Pleural thickening causes the lining of the lung to thicken and swell; this can cause shortness of breath and make the chest area very uncomfortable.
